Application of B-ultrasound technology for cattle in pastures

The reproductive efficiency of cattle farms is crucial to their success, and the use of B-ultrasound pregnancy detection technology in cattle can diagnose pregnancy and fetal age earlier and more accurately. Early confirmation that the cow is not pregnant can determine whether repeated artificial insemination is needed. If you want to fertilize the cow again, you can prioritize observing its estrus. Alternatively, early negative pregnancy test results can provide information for artificial intelligence management decisions, such as deciding whether to use cows or beef cattle for subsequent insemination, or whether to use bulls to naturally cover cows.

Early confirmation of non pregnancy can also help manage cows without any signs of estrus behavior. Lack of estrus behavior, also known as silent estrus, is common in heifers and primiparous cows. This means that failed insemination may go undetected and it is easy to miss opportunities for subsequent insemination. Therefore, early confirmation of fertilization failure can also be used to reduce the interval between insemination in animals that have not shown estrus behavior.
